Advertise: Cab/Executive Hire
How it works
The directory is free to use for travellers but is funded by subscriptions from individual drivers, firms and other advertisers.
The website is still being developed, but when the final version is live travellers search by entering;
- the type of driver/vehicle they want - cab or executive hire
- the most relevant postal district* for their journey. If they don’t know the postal district then they can enter a town/city name and it will be converted into a postal district.
The site will then display the contact details of no more than 10 subscribers that match the search.
Against each subscriber’s details the site will also have a graphical display of criteria to help the traveller decide which subscriber to call. These details include items such as:
- Number of female drivers available
- Earliest/latest journey times
- Number of seats in vehicles
- Will do airport journeys
- Will take unaccompanied children
- And so on …
In addition, as a subscriber you can provide some free text to describe any additional services or specialities that you offer.
The traveller then calls (or can email) their chosen subscriber to directly sort out the details of their journey.
Subscription fees
Subscribers pay a standard fee per postal district* per month (or per year) to be included in the directory. Alternatively, for a higher fee, subscribers can opt to be displayed in the top three for any postal district. No more than 10 subscribers will be accepted for any postal district.
* a postal district is the first half of a postcode, such as HP27, B90, NE11
The subscription fees (exc. VAT) for EACH POSTAL DISTRICT are:

Anonymous Independent Drivers
For personal security reasons, some independent female drivers may wish to appear anonymously within the directory. This can be achieved for an additional flat fee of £35/year (exc VAT).
Their name will be displayed as “LadyDrivernnnn” (where nnnn is an assigned number) within listings and their contact number will be published using a unique 0845 number which will automatically redirect to the driver’s nominated phone number.
Payment of Fees
Fees will be paid monthly/annually in advance by standing order only. Failure to pay the fee will result in the subscriber’s withdrawal from search results until payment is made.
Display ordering
In response to a traveller's search of a postal district ladycab.com will display the results in the following order:
- ‘Top Three’ subscribers in a randomised order, except for London postal districts.
- 'Standard' subscribers in a randomised order.
The maximum number of subscribers for any postal district will be limited to 10.
If there are no subscribers for a searched for postal district, then the site will display a list of nearby postal districts for which there are subscribers. Upon the traveller choosing an alternative postal district the display will be ordered as above.
Other benefits of being a subscriber
We want to make subscription to ladycab.com as beneficial to you as possible, so we are working hard to deliver additional benefits that we can offer to all subscribers. These would include relevant group discounts amongst others. Watch this space for future announcements.
Value for money
We think that a typical non-London subscriber would cover five postal districts in their business, thus the monthly cost for a standard subscription to ladycab.com would be roughly equivalent to a single additional fare per month - which is excellent value for money compared to other methods of advertising.
